We’re excited to celebrate Halloween and our Fall Harvest Parties on the morning of Friday, October 31! Please remember this is a half-day of school, so students will be dismissed at 11:15. I’m sure your students are excitedly discussing their Halloween costumes, and we cannot wait to see them! Please review our costume guidelines below:
Wearing a costume is completely optional.
Costumes should be age and school-appropriate (no violence, scary themes, or inappropriate characters). Keep in mind the age of all Concord students.
Please have your child arrive in costume. Staff cannot assist with dressing.
Choose something comfortable and safe for the morning’s activities.
These activities include an all-school character assembly (students only due to space in the gym) and a CARE-sponsored Fall Harvest party.
No accessories (wands, swords, sticks, etc.).
We discourage masks, as face coverings make it difficult to identify our students. We also ask that any face/body makeup be applied before the school day and not interfere with a safe and positive learning environment.
We appreciate your support in helping us create a positive experience for all students. Please remind your child that while we will celebrate and have fun together, it is still a school day, and regular behavior expectations remain in place.
Thank you for your continued partnership in making Concord a safe and welcoming community of learners.
