This week and especially on November 11, we pause to honor and thank the brave men and women who have served our country. Your courage, dedication, and sacrifice protect the freedoms we enjoy every day. We are grateful for all the veterans in our community, including our staff members, families, and alumni, for your service and commitment. Thank you for your sacrifice. Thank you for your strength. We are pleased to share that both Cass Junior High and Concord Elementary ranked exceptionally well in the U.S. World Report K-12 rankings. Among elementary schools, Concord Elementary ranked 150 out of 3,417 schools and Cass Junior High ranked 182 out of 2,574 middle schools. This places Concord in the top 5% of all elementary school in Illinois and Cass in the top 8% of all middle schools. We could not be more proud of the students, staff, and parents in our school district!

Parent-teacher conferences are November 24 and 25 and registration information is coming soon. The general schedule is from 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. on November 24, and from 8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on November 25. Concord has both virtual and in-person conferences, while conferences at Cass Junior High are all virtual. More details are provided under the weekly Connections.
